Micromax’s YU brand is all set for the unveiling of new devices tomorrow with the company already scheduling an event. Ahead of the company’s event however, a new leak has managed to give us information of the device and some of its features underneath.
The handsets that have leaked are known by the model numbers YU 5050 and YU 4711, with the former supposedly being a high end model unlike older YU offerings that we’ve seen.
The benchmark listing that has leaked shows that the device is packing a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 810 octa core processor, 4GB of RAM and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, which is on par with devices like the OnePlus 2. The pricing of this device has been revealed to be somewhere around Rs 20,295 to Rs 20,752 by import database Zauba.
The YU 4711 is seemingly a mid-range/budget offering and will probably serve the sub-Rs 10,000 market segment. It is expected to be packing 1GB of RAM, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with a quad core Snapdragon 410 SoC.
YU has already hinted that this device will be an exclusive via Snapdeal, while the teaser also suggested that this could be a camera oriented flagship. We’re not sure at this point if both the YU 5050 and the 4711 will be limited to Snapdeal, but it’s quite clear that the 5050 will be the most popular device at the company’s event tomorrow.
YU is also expected to release 10,000 mAh power bank as revealed by import listings from some days ago, so we’ve got that to look forward to as well.
