The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ was launched alongside the Galaxy Note 5 last week. A new report now suggests that Samsung will not waste any time in bringing the handset to the Indian market, given the demand it is seeing of late for high end smartphones.
Going by this report, it seems like Samsung will release the handset in the country on the same day as the key global markets where the device is expected to break cover on the 21st of August.

It is said that Samsung India will prioritise the release of the Galaxy S6 edge+ while pushing back the launch of the Galaxy Note 5 to next month. This move is expected as Samsung vies to take the top spot in the mobile industry yet again, which is crucial given the imminent release of the new range of Apple iPhones next month.
There’s no word on pricing and precise availability info of the Galaxy S6 edge+, but we expect Samsung to share details on that soon enough.
