Lyft and Waze team up to get you to your destination faster

Remember crowd sourced navigation app Waze? Not only does it give you directions based on Waze users real-time reports of traffic tie ups, it also lets you know where the cops are hiding. Back in the summer of 2013, Google purchased Waze and added some of its capabilities to Google Maps. Waze has entered into a partnership with ride-sharing firm Lyft. The latter will get to use Waze’s Transport SDK to offer new in-app features for Lyft drivers and passengers.
