According to Android Pure, the new smartphone will be known as Mercury and carries the BBB100-1 codenamed and runs on the Android OS 6.0 Marshmallow. Other listing information states the smartphone to be powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (possibly the 625 chipset), clocked at 2.0GHz. The SoC is paired to an Adreno 506 GPU and RAM is pegged at 4GB.
Details are sketchy, but information from sources state that it could come with a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It is touted to have 32 GB of internal storage and a powerful 3,000mAh battery. Primary camera could be around 21MP, with 8MP in front for snapping selfies and conducting video calls.
Rumors have stated that Blackberry could announce the DTEK60 very soon. The specs were already leaked on the retailersâ€™ website and even on the company website for the past few weeks with them accepting pre-orders. As of now, they have stopped taking in orders which remains the actual launch to be speculated.
